Snowmobile handlebars play a crucial role in maneuverability, as they touch the ground first when the skis are on a firm surface. This makes the handlebars a very important part of the snowmobile's performance.

The handlebars are installed on the snowmobile's ski frame below the skis. The snowmobile skis come with pre-drilled holes intended for the handlebars. The integrated bolts of the handlebars are pushed through the holes, and the handlebars are tightened to the ski frame with nuts.
